I've installed 5 genuine versions of Vista recently for friends and family, all bought from different vendors and every one has failed authentication, failed telephone automated authentication and has lead me to speak to a MS person afterwards in order to get it verified.
Has anyone else had these problems? I wouldn't mind if it was once in a blue moon but EVERY single time so far?
Even my own work bought Business edition failed :?
mine (Ultimate) worked fine
i have had no problems
I've installed dozens without problems

I have installed loads had no probelms..
Mine authenticated ok first time.
It suddenly asked to be reauthenticated one day and the automated system failed (key in use). Had to speak to the call centre rep to sort it out. Hope it doesn't happen again....
