32bit and 64bit redirected start menus Problem

Hi all

I have been trying to set up redirected start menus. We have a mixed network. XP and 7 Pro (32 and 64bit)

I a 64bit laptop next to me. Everything is all setup with the software. When i try and log on as a pupil it wont find anything on the network. (comes up with an error The path does not exist)

I have created a group poilicy with the WMI filter for the X64bit and also the start menu it should be pointing to.

The event viewer is not helping us much here. Attachment 15881

Any ideas where im going wrong..

Ok, I think i found it. Is it something to do with that^

Do i need to copy the GP and create an another wmi filter and give to non-64bits

Go into the window logs and then folder redirection logs and check what more information it actually gives.

what happens if you ditch the wmi filter?

Not quite sure what "ntserver" is. Its not any names of our servers

This one ^^ is print driver related i feel.

looks like the user dosent have permissions to create a folder in \\ntserver\testpupil$\My Pictures\" and once on part of folder redirection fails it often all fails

We are unsure what the NTserver bit is. Non of our servers are "ntserver" We was going to replace the name. But we are unsure what put there.

run rsop as that user should tell you which policy is applying the ntserver bit

What am i looking for? It just pinning to the 32bit area. Not the 64bit.

think i may of found the problem. GPO wasnt assigned to the group.
