I recently changed to Chrome on my computer. I have a very big Google spreadsheet that was painfully slow on IE8 but is almost realtime with Chrome, so I am delighted. I'm seeing problems with some sites and I'm toying with changing the curriculum machines to Chrome. Is this the way to go?
Are these XP machines? I find Chrome better than IE8 on XP. On Win7, IE9 seems much better behaved
We have a google apps site, so chrome was a natural choice and it is installed site wide, but so is FF.
Is it easy enough to manage Chrome with the ADM files, such as disabling store etc?

We run Chrome and IE on our machines. It gives the students and staff a choice of which they prefer to use.
use chrome as default on all machines, IE tends to bomb out and die coz well its IE... people seem to prefer google chrome as well
We use chrome site wide on win 7, no complaints.
We thought about it but get issues with offline files and chrome. Seems to create loads of .tmp files instead of file downloads and causes sync conflicts :(

I personally use Firefox, but keep managed workstations to IE. GPOs are built in, updates come via WSUS and it just works. It's not a great browser, but it works well in a managed environment.
We're looking to deploy Chrome site wide, what are you all doing in terms of updates for Chrome? Do you let it update by default over the internet or do you disable updating and deploy a new version of Chrome via GPO etc every now and again?
