pda, pocket pc and wireless

does anyone know on my acer pda got a wire to connect usb devices to it can you connect a belkin wireless usb pen to it to make the pda wireless...

probably cant be done but thought i would ask

i looked into this a while back and only thing i could find was a cf card with a usb 1.1 port on it but it comes at a high price.

You'd probably need an SDIO Wifi card.

sorry misundersatnd can plug usb devices into pda as got wire already and have got a usb wireless stick that you put in back of pc and was wondering anyway of getting pocket pc to see it

Some manufacrers do have PPC drivers but most don't I'm afraid Russ.

My suggestion is get a better PDA ;)

hi does anyone know does SDW-820 wireless card work in acer n30 it has an sd/mmc slot

i think it is pocket pc 2002 not sure how you tell

as can see pda's not my strong point...

alright figured version got ppc 2003 so just need to find if that sdw card will work in my acer..

well spoke top ric last night (cheers) worked it all out looks like my pda accepts sdio or what ever it is called..

unfortuntly cant aford to buy new pda but as can get wifi sdio card for £30 might do that...

and as it works fine part from no wireless..
