Is this possible? Ok, I will give some background info...
The office want the email addresses of selected parents, data in excel at present, to be inserted into one email. Currently this is done through copy and paste, one at a time. I have been racking my brain, thinking of linking Access database....... Visual studio.. Excel import.. Outlook import... :confused2:
Anyone with sugestions?
It sems possible if I get them into a grid in VB then multiple select from grid, copy and paste into Outlook....
Umm, there are plenty of ways to get this done, you can use macros through an access ADP

you could also use something in VS to just access the APIs

or you could export to CSV then import this into the address book
You can automate Office massivly, it is part of the reason it is so popular.

If you have exch then it would be nice to import as contacts and maybr add to a dl fir future usse and it will be avaliable to everyone to use and you can put in restrictoons etc...
Even without exchange you can do this, just do it in the local contacts. I would do this personally.Quote:

These email addresses are private so we don't want them put in the system. All we wan't to do is give a admin staff member an easier way to add the adresses into a bcc box on an email rather than adding them one at a time.Quote:

Depending on how far you want to go with this, you can hide the contacts from those who shouldn't need access. Or a simple cut/copy & paste may be the answer.
