    it won't work :-)

    If you don't want to break your live domain, set up a virtual server and try it out.

    If you want multiple password policies for domain accounts then you have 2 choices; wait for Server 2008 or buy a 3rd party product.

    You can also setup a new domain in the same forest, move the accounts across and create a trust.
