    Redirected Start Menus

I have a large group of users who use re-directed start menus.

We have introduced some 64-bit laptops onto the network and have the issue where the central share for the start menus refers to applications as C:\Program Files\application.exe, which is fine for the 32-bit clients, but the 64-bit computers have the software installed into C:\Program Files (x86)\application.exe which obviously doesn't work.

What are the solutions to this problem? I have investigated using environmental variables, but there is no variable which resolves to Program Files on 32bit and Program Files (x86) on 64 Bit.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

ACreate two gpos, one for a 64bit start menu and one for a 32bit start menu. Now using wmi filtering on each gpo, apply the correct start menu
