Group policy conundrums (new folder)
I'm currently trying to improve my new hybrid (xp and 7) pupil GPO Users settings and have had a few mishaps.
Somehow in XP i've disabled the New File / folder menu button in explorer? (now pupils can't make a folder as no right click)
The My Music folder doesn't redirect but instead make a useless shortcut to an invalid location (xp only) 7 works great. (I've checked the redirect policy and even set it back to local profile and set the apply / don't apply to xp cant make it behave?) it was directed to "%homedrive%\My Music"
I do have some GPP as well but none fiddle with this folder.

I'm also redirecting the start menu to a local directory "%systemdrive%\custommenu" but it shows up as startmenu in explorer now? Is this going to be an issue or is it like the "documents" folder? I intend to use GPP to populate the folder using item level targeting to see if the programs is actually installed or not. Unless some one has a better way.
