windows xp - printer deployment

Hi all,

little problem with group policy deploying printers, the printers group policy is deployed to every member off staff and all students, a problem occours in a room called IT4 where a number of students end up with no printers deployed, they should...

theirs no specific problem with the policy as some students get it deployed and some dont, its not any inividual account or computer its just pot luck...


Servers OS
DC - Server 2008 r2
Printers - Server 2008

PC OS

4 machines in room - Windows 7 SP1
the other 28 - XP SP3

its quite anoying when it works one lesson and doesnt the next, when they log off and bavk on then they sometimes get the printer(s)

help please

Are you deploying the printers from the print server, or mapping them through group policy?
