Does anyone know of a utility that could tell me how much use a given PC or room PCs is used? (by OU)
it'd be cool if a utility out there could read the event logs of my PCs to see how often users login and use them. We're looking at culling alot of PCs as we believe that alot of them go unused for most of the day. I have spice works but I couldn't find a report that would cover this, nor do I know if it collects that much data from the logs.

7th February 2012, 10:33 AM #2 IIRC, NetSupport DNA had that functionallity. It's been quite a while since I used it, but I'm pretty sure it offered thoses stats.
Ah, here we go, it comes under application metering which allows you to customise reports to deliver these metrics: NetSupport DNA: The latest evolution in Asset Management and PC Remote Support

7th February 2012, 11:56 PM #4 Impero does some / can do / will be doing (cannot remember which one now) regards to PC Usage, I'm sure @russdev can remind my tired and failing brain of which it is....

8th February 2012, 12:25 PM #5 Yes Impero does log everyone that logs into the Computer plus whole lot more for example also logs when machine used and when sitting idle. So for example we can work out if machine is sitting not being used for the whole day..
