Had a very odd problem just present itself via a Fireworks 8 error message when saving.

Basically, when some students logged in, no profile was copied over to the machine, yet it looked like everything was fine from their point of view. No error was presented during login either (if it had, it would have not let them finish logging in).

So, when I got them to log out, and logged in as me, there was no folder with their username as its name in c:\documents and settings.

I got them to log in again and it worked fine this time.

Anyone got any ideas as to what could have caused this? I'm used to profiles not loading at random times, but never without an error.

This is with Windows XP and Windows 2003 Server.
