Boring blue for all the students here...and the teachers. Although custom bmps can be used on the teacher's laptops.

I also use boring blue (bar one admin PC which i deliberately set to boring grey for a bit of variety). My servers feed into one monitor so I have cleverly added the words "admin" and curriculum" to their desktop backgrounds so that I don't get confused.

regarding bginfo - how do people get it to work as a logon/startup script?

it does work but it ignores the settings I specified and saved in the default.bgi and just displays all information

    At machine startup:
    Code:
    bginfo startup.bgi /timer:0
    At user logon:
    Code:
    bginfo logon.bgi /timer:0

This is the old version of the wallpaper I use http://www.beechhill.notts.sch.uk/files/Wallpaper.zip

It’s a simple blue page with a bunch of useful links down the right hand side. Some of the links point to folders on our server or C drive.

Our staff wallpaper is their personal handbook (which also contains the staff handbook and departmental handbook) so all the documents they need are right there in an ordered fasion on their desktop.

Students are just plain blue (Windows classic)
