    Re: free imaging software

http://www.osalt.com/ is a good website to find free versions of commercial software... http://www.osalt.com/search?q=ghost lists alternatives to ghost.

We already have ghost enterprise so I can't really recommend any. but this is a starting point

    Ghost4Linux should do it.

    Re: free imaging software

I've really liked Ghost in the past, and tried one linux variant that just took an age.. no clever compression like Ghost uses I suppose.

Is this still the same with these other versions? (just interested)

Imagex? Free if you have Windows already (and I'd guess you do!)

It's part of the Windows Automated Installation Kit at http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

Don't worry about the fact that the filename says "vista" - although it was developed to help roll out Vista it works perfectly well with XP and 2000.
