Redirected My Documents security problem
On my network, each user has a network drive. They are listed as the folder owner.
I have one user who likes their My Documents folder redirected. For some reason, all of their documents keep getting marked read only, and they have to change the setting for each file EACH time they open it.
Is this is simple setting repair, I'm hoping?

We had a problem like this when we migrated from CC3 to Vanilla. It was fixed using a batch file, which we kept in case it happened again. I will try and hunt it out for you for Monday if you can wait until then.

Re: Redirected My Documents security problem
It turns out the user did the exact thing I told them to avoid--they had taken away their access rights to the folders.
When they tried to add them back, they did not give write access to themselves.
I manually corrected all permissions and it works fine now.
Thanks!
