just started seeing this message in one IT suite - "exception had been thrown by the target of an invocation"
Every other room is fine. Can't google anything relating to this. Any help would be appreciated.

on the machines in that IT suite , if you logon as admin and go to event viewer are there any events related to this message that give an event id and something a bit more descriptive ?
Not sure if this is relevant since im just throwing spaghetti at the wall so to speak , but i found this :
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/328560
Sounds like someone has been doing some satanic summoning spells again.
Most of the google references I found on a quick search seemed to be related to databases and SQL /shrug
nothing out of the ordinary in the event viewer for that time period.
When I googled all I saw were references to databases etc., but these kids were simply logging on.
Still working on it
Is that the exact error message you are getting ? ( Just when googling I have found variations of the error ) Is there anyway you can take a photo of it with a camera phone or digi camera or something like that ?
Also is there any error logs in the windows or system directory that may contain any more info on this error ? ( just a thought ) not sure if it will or not.
according to this blog :
http://markstechstuff.blogspot.com/
"Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation"
If you're getting this error, then it might be that your event log is becoming too full
You can clear your event log by going to:
Start -> Administrative Tools -> Event Viewer
that's the exact message
ok no problem, just thought I would double check as I thought it was odd that I was getting variants of the error message when googling.
Anyway might wanna give the above a go , if that does not work then I will have a look later on and see if I can come up with anything
