Help!!!!!!! With Excel 2003

A lady I am currently working with has a very interesting problem with her Excel. When she types the word "Total" in any cell, it disappears. If she types "Total" and then something else, the word Total disappears, but the next word looks like it's been tabbed over in the cell. Apparently this has been going on for years. Any ideas?!

Try detect and repair from Excel help menu or add/remove programs in Control Panel.

Try recreating the affected user profile.

If that fails then she probably has a case of the Total virus.

is it set in autocorrect by any chance? (Tools > AutoCorrect Options)

It was in Auto Correct!! How funny. Somebody must have went in there, typed Total, didn't put in an "autocorrect" and hit OK instead of Close. I never would have thought of that. Thank you!!
