I'd be very interested in any info regarding roaming problems...sorry, profiles here. Our biggest bugbear is having to clear locally-stored profiles off machines that have been scrambled in some way - so the user cannot then log on. A quick fix but it's a tedious fault which occurs with some frequency.

You need somthing like Delprof run in the startup and shut down scripts to get rid of these.

Why?
Just stick delprof in NETLOGON and add the following line to your startup script:
