I get a similar problem on some of my HP printers, I can cure this issue by disabling the "monitoring" check box in the driver and also for one of my sharp printers the two way communications on the ip ports config. aka "bidirectional support"

I've had a couple of 3310's for years and never seen this.

I have recently added a 3310 to our Windows Server 2003 network and get this problem. The most recent driver posted by Samsung is dated 2007 and I have used this. Has anyone progressed this further please? Incidentally I have Ricoh and HP networked printers that don't give me this message.
