    isa server 2006

We're running a windows 2003 r2 server with isa server 2006 acting as our proxy, this is not a DC as it doesn't need to be and causes major issues if it is. Everything working fine no issues, I thought, teacher comes to me "I need to access this site but it is being blocked" thinking it is a PICNIC (problem in chair not in computer) problem I go to have a look and fair enough isa is blocking the site HTTP filter. So getting back to the isa box and going to configure the HTTP filter to allow the site I find to my horror that the HTTP filter is not there to configure, it shows in the configuration-addins- web filters but not when you go to a firewall rule. Help!!!! any ideas would be gratefully accepted.

ISA will block by default so if you have no firewall rule to allow the HTTP traffic it won't work. Create one is my advice

    Hi Rick thanks for that.

Maybe I was unclear so I apologise, the default rule for net access we have included the HTTP filter, always has, it has now gone disappeared, vanished. Hence my problem, and question how do I get it back?

When you right click and select properties on your http filter in the add-ins element is the http filter enabled and is the relative path set as HttpFilter.dll?
