Does anybody know how to get a blank new window in Internet Explorer or at least one with just the homepage?
I think you can do this on Firefox but wanted how to achieve the same effect for those occasions when I use IE.

Are you talking about when you use it interactively or when you are scripting it?
You can use
IEXPLORE.EXE -nohome
to launch an empty IE window from a script, so I guess you could create a global shortcut key to do this for you.

Ctrl + N while you're in IE.

Oh.ops: Well, I did have the homepage loaded. So technically it worked.... at the time. :P
