Start Menu Redirection works but shows additional shortcuts...

Things like Outlook Express, Windows Media Player, Accessories Folder show up in the start menus along with everything that should be there!

I thought it might have been something to do with the "default user" or "all users" profile but after deleting the start menus in there they continue to show up when logging on with another user (even one I've not logged on with before).

Not a major issue just an annoyance. Any ideas?

Do you have the option ticked in your GPO that says something like 'copy existing shortcuts over to the new location'?

    The group policy setting

User Configuration > Policies > Administrative Templates > Start Menu and Taskbar > Remove common program groups from Start Menu

    will remove the global shortcuts.
