I am looking for a free ideally portable appliation that can take a snapshot of the whole regisrtry beofre and then when i install a program and then i can ask to take a snapshot after which then would provide a lit of results of what registry keys have been edited or deleted or added.
I would like to find the same for files and folders, so i know that also what permission i would have to give to users if required.
Many thanks

RegShot does that type of thing. Not used it in a long time though so not sure how it is nowadays.
