Will those computers print other things?
Have you copied something from the publisher file into word or notepad to see if it will print
have you tried another printer?
'spect you have but just trying to get it straight in my mind!
Publisher 2000/2003? Printer have a space or "-" in the name? It doesn't work with printers with spaces or dashes, at least when I tried (*everything* else worked, just not publisher).

I have a similar problem... the only way tat kids can print in colour from Publisher is to first print in mono(otherwiese they receive an error message). Most odd!
I exlain that Publish is rubbish and that they should use a proper program.
plublisher is a funny programme one of the main problems with it is that it configures itself to the printer settings ie if you have you printer set to mono and and want to print it does not like to be printed to any other printer. as most (i know we do ) of the time the default printer is b and w laser or simlar publisher attaches itself to this printer and dont like to be changed. what ver of pub are you using ?? as i thought they had sorted this out on 2003. there are sevral was to work around this.
We have found that it actually stores the previous printer in a Reg frag. This led to students either trying to print to printers unavailable or printing across the school with out realising it. Only way to solve is to reselect the printer. That is even if it is showing the correct printer click the drop down box and select the same printer. Right pain but we are looking at fixing it by wiping that reg frag.

One thing to make sure of with Publisher is that the share name and the real name is the same. I gets us every time.
