Not sure about certain times of day but you can stop certain apps running using Windows Software Restriction Policies in Group Policy or, if you want to put the control with teachers, AB Tutor Control will give them this functionality, as will some other classroom management software.
If your start menu is redirected, you could have a schedule to change what shortcuts are there at any given time... not the best solution but should do the trick. They can still run the program but they need to know where it is or have a shortcut to open the program. Why would you need to restrict programs at certain times?
Would be good, could put Quake on and have it only available for break, dinner and after school LAN matches![]()
Yeah i know about the software restrictions, we have a load in place at the mo, but i dont want to be changing that everytime a teacher wants to use it
Ranger has that feature among plenty of others.
