    Browing Folders - New Window

May be a really silly question and I can guarantee it's somewhere obvious but where is the group policy setting to disable opening a new window everytime a folder is browsed to. I have just set up a new policy and can't work out whats doing it.

    Thanks

    Tom

Not sure about a GPO but you can configure this in your profile (under the view menu... there's a box for apply to all windows or something).

Indeed, there's no GPO setting for this. Either configure it in your default/mandatory profile or alter the registry key directly.

Ok thanks for the advice. I'm sure I had seen the setting somewhere before. Clearly I'm going crazy :-)

    Thanks again

Could I ask where abouts the registry key is, if anybody knows?

    Thanks

Ive got a feeling the 'Turn on Classic Shell' GPO setting can cause this. It was enabled when I first joined the school and it took me ages to find out what was causing it
