Rep Power: 0   |  Promethean to Smart conversion tool. Does anybody know of a tool to convert promethean board files to smart board ones? In the smart board installation directory there is a program called PrometheanFileConverter.exe but this does not appear to do anything and I cannot find any information about it on the internet. Thanks for any advice. T |

Blog Entries: 1 Rep Power: 66      | Re: Promethean to Smart conversion tool. Last time I checked the Smartboard software could read Promethean flipcharts. Likewise the Activestudio software could read Smartboard flipcharts (I don't think it can read the newer 9.5 format flipcharts though). |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Promethean to Smart conversion tool. SMART Board software 9.5 can convert ActivStudio 2.5 files into the Notebook file format. 1. From Program Files\SMART Board software launch the PrometheanFileConverter.exe. 2. Select File -> Import 3. Change ‘Files of Type:’ to ‘All Promethean Files’ on the Open dialog 4. Browse to an appropriate file, and Click <Open> 5. The file will open in a new NB file (i.e. – it will not append to existing pages, if you have data in NB, it will prompt you to save) This is for Windows only. Please contact SMART technical support if you require more information. They will be happy to help. |
