Psprint help
I downloaded the psPrint script from the Edugeeks download area.
I may have missed something in the documentation, but I am having a hard time getting the script setup as a Windows 2003 domain logon script. I tried creating a batch file with the psprint printer.ini line, like the documentation said, but it does not do anything.
Has anyone used this script before and be able to offer me some setup advice? It looks like a wonderful resource and I'd like to be able to use it.
Thanks.

Cannot really help with that but you may also want to try my script at http://edugeek.net/index.php?name=Fo...iewtopic&t=404 - a lot of schools use this (or variations of it) very successfully.

Re: Psprint help
Hi
I actually created psPrint - could you elaborate exactly on what you're having problems with?
The way I run it is by using a shortcut that is created the the shared menu program files/startup folder.
It will attempt to find the ini file in the same folder as you ran the application from. If you are having issues, you may like to specify the full path to the ini file.
e.g
psprint.exe p:\admin\printers.ini
The program has been running live on our system now for over 18 months without issue.
I would be happy to assist further in this thread or via msg if you prefer.

Re: Psprint help
Thanks for your help, klawd. It looks like everything works well now. It looks like I had not specified the ini file correctly.
After tweaking my settings to your example, everything works.
Thanks again.

Re: Psprint help
Klawd (or anyone else that knows...)
I have been using psPrint successfully for a little while now. It works wonderfully, except that it does not set the default printer. I added the $ command, and it is still not working. It adds the printer properly.
Any tricks to this? Thanks!
