    Profile located on the servers system drive?

    The other day we came across a students profile located on the servers c:\Documents and Settings

    inside is the NTUSER.dat >> how on earth did that get there??

    Another user has also recently popped up...

    Any ideas?

    Can only guess that they remote desktop connected to it and logged on.

    Umm I thought that...

    They shouldnt have access... thats what im assuming though. I'll test that out tommoz. Cheers

    Domain users can log into member servers or else normal users wouldn't be able to log interminal servers.

    Make sure staff and student accounts are denied interactive login permission to no terminal servers.


    If you see a student profile on the D&S folder of a domain controller then you've been owned :!:
