[Driver needed] Genius KidsBall (Trackball) Mouse

I have in my possession a Genius Kidsball mouse with a serial connector. A converter has been found, but unfortunately the floppy disk enclosed with it has instructions for installing under Widows 98 and 95... Having tracked down a PC with a floppy drive, I've extracted the drivers and tried them in XP, but they won't install (message - "does not support NT!" - their exclamation mark!).

The manufacturer's website Genius is failing to provide any driver and my google skills have failed so far to find anything.

    Can anyone help please?
