Extract Calandar & E-mail from .PST

Anyone know of a free tool in which you can point a .pst file at and extract individual e-mail and calendar events ?
I have had to revert back to a backed up .PST file for a user and the old one which I have has some sent e-mail and calendar events - is it possible to transfer these over to the new .PST file ?

Open outlook with the new pst file for the user in question then go to file- open-outlook data file and open the other data file then you can select all the emails from one inbox and right click select move to move them to the inbox of the other pst file. You can export the calendar as a csv file and then import it to the correct pst file
