I have made serveral mantory profiles before, but this thing keeps bugging me now
What on earth are these files, can we delete them?
ntuser.MAN.LOG1
ntuser.MAN.LOG2
ntuser.MAN{d9785ec9-2adf-11e0-8f11-001fd0a5b188}.TM.blf
785ec9-2adf-11e0-8f11-001fd0a5b188}.TMContainer00000000000000000002.regt rans-ms
If I do delete these, and the open regedit and load the hive into it and then unload it, it makes these files again
Would like to delete these files as it would make the profile smaller
Also what else do you guys delete in the profile?

17th February 2011, 11:09 AM #2 When creating a mandatory profile I don't delete anything. I've managed sizes under 1MB which works well for wireless networks. As for what those log files are for I am not sure. Have you tried opening them with Notepad?

17th February 2011, 11:17 AM #3 AFAIK the .log files are the logs of the changes you made to the registry hive i.e. you must have edited the .man file so it created a log of that.
