auditing file access
In another thread someone mentioned auditing file access on a windows server. How would i go about turning this on for say the resources share and what info would i get out (how readable is it) and what sort of hit is this going to have on server performance (none/small/cripple it)

Yep - thats why I use the System Change Log program - it makes it a LOT easier to interpret the logs

you may try this one Connection Monitor. It is a share access monitoring tool and can be installed on pc or on server.
