Hi,
I have BlueJ installed for our ICT use for programming simulations. I am trying to upgrade to the latest version. I get the error message above:
"BlueJ could not find any Java systems"
When I run the freshly upgraded BlueJ. The BlueJ website advises:
"You should download J2SDK from the Sun Microsystems Java website and install it. You can get it here: java.sun.com/j2se"
But when I go to that website I find that the website is currently down. Searching yields loads of hits for Java Run Time Environment and lots of versions, some of which are end of life. These end of life versions seem to be what BlueJ is looking for [In terms of version number] So what do I do: Download the old [End of life] JRE or the newer version?
