    Same home folder different number of files shown on different pc's

    ok strange one

    got a user who when logged on his home folder shows 64 items
    the server shows 111 items as does my laptop. 2 other servers show 108 and 99

    Are they all logged in as the same user? Sounds like it could be permissions

    Do you use DFS this could be sync issue?

    Make sure you have both the hidden system files settings enabled and also run a permissions > ownership with the inherit box ticked against the folder. Unless you have some weird offline files or DFS setup going on then there's no way any files should be inaccessible/not visible after that.

    just mapping a drive as same user each time its word files and spreadsheets that are missing no dont use DFS

    Did you ever manager to solve this? As im having the same problem in Win 7, same H drive different files between two machines.
