Ok im testing the redirection of the favourites+ GPO applied favroties, without using something like the policy maker drve map CSE (cost implication) so I am looking at using something like the TC Template (http://portal.loginconsultants.nl/fo...y;threadid=415) and redirecting to a UPN based hidden share on their home folder.
However!!! I have noticed that if you redirect to a visible share the GPO favorites are created fine, however if I make no other changes other than to make the share "hidden" the favorites configured under gpo made favorites folders dont get created and brdlog.txt reports Failed with E_FAIL.
Has anyone replicated this or using redirected favourites to a UPN hidden share?

Yeah - didn't work for us either - we had to write a little program run at logon to set the key in the registry to point at the right place...

Thanks for confiming Spuff..any chance you can elaborate on what exactly you and did and what solution you ended up with?
im interested as I can set the value to anything I want pretty much at a number of points, it's the getting of the IE CSE to understand what I have set.
