    If the page was a trusted site, would that allow the script to run?

    Another option might be to sign the script... not sure about this though.

    The script runs from our 'local intranet' which is a trusted zone. Thanks for the idea though.

    There are several differences in the various zone settings in IE7 vs IE6. You need to be aware of them. Things do not work the same as they did before. See this blog post by the IE devs for more info:
