Win7 :: Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service.
just befor this halfterm holiday my windows 7 Laptop came up with a new error msg..
"Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service." i only get it when i access a 2003 server and Samba keeps asking for a password.
every thing was fine just befor this halfterm but im not the only one having this problem the other windows 7 laptop we have has the same problem.
the servers have not been touched for months.. any one had this problem b4??

Have a look at the virtual memory on the laptop and try setting it to a custom size to 4000mb for both reboot and try again. I am guessing on the size. If it does not fix it put it back to the computer managing it.

5th November 2010, 12:33 PM #3 i have a justed the Page file to 4gb, rebooted still no joy...
But my 2008 servers are now showing the same problem any thing 2008/Win7.. cant access 2003 Server share.
But the the 2003 Server can access the shares on win 7 and 2008 server..
it seems to be a one way acceess..
