Ive found some really go software for.... FREE that converts videos... dunno if any of you have come across it but its very good...

Very very good piece of software, earlier versions were very unstable but this one seems spot on!

yep.. ive converted a few but becareful when converting to wmv... takes a load of mem up

Tools like this are good if you just stick to them and don't have other versions of the sub-programs used by it on your machine at the same time, as its basically just a GUI for lots of open-source software.

That SUPER program has one of the worst websites I've ever seen. Maybe it's just me, but I had a really hard time finding where the download link actually was. There was far too much text, scrolling and clicking to do. :x

Here are a few other video conversion programs you might be interested in (all free)...

StaxRip and WinFF - Both of these are very similar to SUPER in that they can convert videos from one format to another. However, WINFF is MUCH easier to use.
DVDFlick and FAVC - These two programs allow you to create DVDs that will play in a standalone DVD player from AVIs, WMVs and so on.

Worst website ever!

Currently downloading the file but I did nearly give up at one point.

It might be easier to just read the manual for ffmpeg (or install windows media encoder if wmv is your thing) rather than run code from a site that looks like that.

Nasty, nasty website!

I pitched up at it with FF3 with NoScript turned on, suffice to say that it was a non-starter.....

Anwyay, I stumbed across this page, which describes how to download the file.
