We have been using a piece of software for 10 years and have been notified that we have not paid our annual fee for the past few years and that we now owe a back payment.
We have had no correspondence for nearly 5 years regarding this so Iím not sure why this has only just come to the companyís attention.
Does anyone know anything about licenses, can they do this?

Depends on the company - what is the software/company? Difficult to comment without knowing this.
