    Exclamation Spiceworks 5.0 Officially Live!

    Greetings edugeek-ers!

Just wanted to pass on the good news that Spiceworks 5.0 is now officially ready for download. After a lengthy Beta process to iron out any bugs or glitches and two Release Candidates, the new software is available to all IT pros and sysadmins. I assure you that the wait was worth it as the official release boasts speeds up to 50% faster than previous versions of Spiceworks!

I want to thank you all for all of your support, reviews, blog posts, and discussions over the last few months that really helped raise anticipation and excitement for our new release.

Here are some resources that may help you get started with Spiceworks 5.0:

We hope Spiceworks 5.0 makes your IT day easier than ever before and look forward to your feedback!

    -Jason S.

Is anyone running spiceworks in an environment with middleware? CC3, CC4, CSE, Classlink ... any comments appreciated. Particularly looking at how the AD Management works with it.

I've never used this before, but it's most definitely on my to-look-at list.. Our current commercial application is (to be polite) poor, so SpiceWorks sounds fantastic.

I've sent a support request but have not yet got the auto reply to acknowledge this or a reply which is unusual. If I give you the email address can you follow this up?
