Logging and reporting on pc idle time
I've been asked to try and generate a report to show all pcs on the network by idle time, and perhaps also by number of logons/ logoffs. This is because SMT want to try and get a picture of which assest are actually being used.
I've tried several zenoss and opennms - hoping that would give me cpu useage time in a database which I could then report on via php but no luck.
I'm just giving spiceworks a go now but it seems like a no dice as well.
the soultion really needs to be zero install on the client side - snmp/wmi is fine
Does anyone have any suggestions?
