Our burser has had an email through with an attachment ending in .AWS
The sender kindley stated that this can be opened in Excel..
Only it can't
we have no idea what the document is (though guessing its a spreadsheet) or whats in it.
A quick google pointed us to a commercial office suite called "Abilty"..
So we either have to email the sender back asking them to resend in a format compatible with Office (2k3/2k7) or find someway of opening this file ourselves...

I thought Tesco were selling ability office as their own product but can't find info on it.
I think your best bet is to ask however sent it to resend it as a csv or something else you can open in excel.

Bung the free trial version of Ability onto a machine and see what you can export as?

they must be getting confused as it seems like an ability office spreadsheet not excel
Open Office may open it but ive never tried it so dont quote me on that.
Best bet would be to get back to them and get them to make it into a file format thats compatable and workable with excel
