I hope someone can help. I have a customer who reported yesterday that any internal emails are undeliverable. This happened suddenly. External emails are ok. Any ideas please ?

What does the message tracking centre report?
Do you mean that you cannot send or recieve Internally but you can send and receive external email? Or can you only send to external email?
Thanks for your reply. The person doesn't know what the message tracking system is (to be honest neither do I) I am now informed that this is only affecting certain users. A real puzzle.
Maybe their mailboxes are full or over the send/receive limit?
User reports that the mail boxes are within the limits .... now I am stuck![]()

Are they typing the email address in correctly?
Hiya. Yes the addresses are ok. I am going to log in remotely and see what the the message tracker has to say. (if it's enabled)

Rob: Please fill in your profile to give us an idea of who you are and where you come from.
Also are there any errors displayed or logged either in exchange itself or the system logs.
If you create a new mailbox does it happen to them?
Is there anything in common between the ones it does happen too?
Anything changed recently?

Will do Plexer. The state of the situation at present is that the domain controllers are being rebooted. A person has suggested there may be a fault in the active directory.
Not the fabled "A Person". You would not believe the amount of grief he has caused me over the years. I think he may also be closely related to Mr "My Son Works in IT" and Mr "A Bloke in Our Local Reckons"...
Well what the 'A Person' suggested didn't work either. Back to square one
Sounds abit like "my mate who works in IT" and frequently for IBMOriginally Posted by Ravening_Wolf
