[BLOG] Installation of RSA Authentication Mananger 7.1

    Afternoon,

It may not be of much use to people who work in schools as I wouldn't think that this would be required in that environment, but just in case any body on here does have to install RSA Authentication Manager 7.1 in the future here is my blog post which contains some simple instructions to install this software and to also get it working with Remote Desktop Services.

    Installing RSA Authentication Manager 7.1

--- Installed on Small Business Server 2008 although the Windows Server 2008 OS should be pretty much the same although there is a part which you would be able to ignore if you have a Global Catalogue Server.

    James.

Pity I'd set it all up for UAG a few weeks ago. When it says no 2008 R2, it means it. I've built a 2003 x86 VM for it :|

Yeah the Agent is compatible with Server 2008/R2 but the actual console is not compatible with server 2008 hence why it has to go on a server 2003 box which is normally just a VM :-)

For the smallish company I did it for they had a SBS 2008 Server and then i had a HyperV R2 Server which had Server 2003 for RSA and a Server 2008 R2 RDS Server.
