Find security group usage in shares
I'm looking at tidying up and consolidating our plethora of security groups in active directory. What I want to be able to do is scan our network shares to produce a list of security groups used and what folders they apply to. Anyone got any ideas how to do this?

There is a free program called ShareEnum provided via Microsoft SysInternals, which may do what you need.
Sysinternals can be found here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/s.../bb545027.aspx

Thanks for the ShareEnum suggestion, but it doesn't do what I need unfortunately, I need to find any security groups used on any subfolders or files in a share.
