    2.0 was a subset of 3.0
    True. The dotNet 3.0 runtime installer is essentially:

    a) dotNet 2.0
    b) New bits for presentation, comms, workflow.

    You can skip installing dotNet2.0 since installing dotNet 3.0 will do that for you.
