I'm considering removing Adobe Reader completely from our network and replacing it with something less full of holes and needless add-ons. For what it does, it consumes a disproportionate amount of my time testing and deploying patches and workaround because their vuln report > create patch > make patch available process is glacial.
Has anyone got a list of software that will check for the presence of Adobe Reader, either at install or runtime as opposed to checking .pdfs are registered with a handler?
