    Windows Elevation Utilities / Powertoys

Just came across this TechNet blog by Michael Murgolo. Contains some useful looking bits and pieces to help you work & script around UAC on Vista/7

    Create self elevating scripts
    Drag'n'drop elevation tool
UAC, Logon Scripts and Launchapp.wsf workaround
    Explore as Administrator

Elevation PowerToys for Windows - Site Home - TechNet Blogs

(mods/admins - do we really still need multiple Windows forums? if so, where should I have posted something that applies to Vista & 7 & Server ?)

Thanks for posting this. I came across another program last week that works like Launchapp.wsf called UAC Trust Shortcut.

I thought the Windows forum covers all versions of Windows? Perhaps it would be better to combine Windows 7 with 2008 R2 and Vista with 2008 so that similar OSs are grouped together, or just have two Windows forums (Client and Server) with optional "Prefixes" if the thread is specific to a particular version?
