Exam/Test questions for an interview
Hi all. Apologies if this thread is in totally the wrong area, but I wasn't sure where to put it. Feel free to move it to a more appropriate place of course.
Right, straight to the point...Iím more then likely to be leaving my post as ICT/Network Manager at my school to take up a Senior Mobile Engineer job with RM as part of the Hull BSF Project.
I've been tasked by my boss in the school to create an advert for a replacement (which i've done), and also write a test for the potential candidates to sit on the day of their interview.
I want to focus the questions mainly on server based stuff, with a number of questions relating to disaster recovery methods that would be followed in the event of a huge network/server failure.
I arenít good at this kind of thing (writing test/exam questions), so Iím all ears as to what ideas you have for questions.
Just incase potential candidates read this thread, could any question ideas be PM'd to me please?

Are you sure you want to give up your full time job for a BSF job with the expected push from the tories to save so much money, closing schools and saving money like they are ?

Ahh ... I can now see why.

I suspect that one of the ways they will save money is by outsourcing as much as possible - it's what many organisations do when they want to save money.

Exactly. Its a permanent job, with great perks...and i really want it. I've worked in this school for 4 years now, and its time to move on.
