XP Power settings on wireless netbooks
Hey peeps, I've come accross an annoying issue with some new wireless netbooks that we've rolled out. I'm sure we set them up so hibernate was setup and that it would go to standby when the lid is shut. Now it seems that hibernate isn't set and they are set to never go to standby anyway this means that if a student doesn't switch the netbook off and puts it back in the trolly it runs until flat (not ideal).
I'm going to have to enable hibernate on them all to start but what's the best way to set power options for all users if I set them as an admin the same settings don't apply to all users, can I set power settings in a profile and then copy that over the default profile so each new user picks them up?
I'm going to have a play tomorrow but ideas please?
They're all XP SP3 on a Server 2008 domain.

The best way that I've found so far is to set them in the default profile so that applies to all new users.
I also used POWERCFG.EXE to turn on hibernate using a batch file.
